1. DECLARATIONS OF INTEREST

To consider the report of the Director of Environment summarising developments since the spring meeting of the panel, including the Annual Progress Report 2004, Casualty Reduction and Speed Cameras, Travel Plans and the MIRACLES project in Winchester.
7. LOCAL TRANSPORT PLAN 2006 TO 2011 UPDATE AND PROCEDURAL DECISIONS (Report herewith)
To consider the report of the Director of Environment discussing the draft Local Transport Plan (LTP) guidance received from the Department for Transport and the procedural timetable issues that need to be addressed to produce a good LTP by the deadline of 29 July 2005.

To consider the report of the Director of Environment concerning key policy decisions for Hampshire County Council in its new Local Transport Plan.
9. KEY LOCAL TRANSPORT PLAN POLICY DECISIONS FOR TRANSPORT STRATEGY PANELS (Report herewith)
To consider the report of the Director of Environment concerning major schemes within the context of the Regional Spatial Strategy. The report also sets out progress on the A3 Bus Priority Corridor and other significant transport schemes in the Solent Transport Strategy area, and suggests possible themed campaigns for the Panels consideration.
10. CAPITAL PROGRAMME 2005/06 (Report herewith)
To consider the report of the Director of Environment identifying the need to prioritise schemes within the indicative Transport Capital Programme for 2005/06.
11. INTRODUCTION OF PARKING CHARGES IN GOSPORT

To consider the report of the Director of Environment concerning the Executive Member for Environment's decision to enable Gosport Borough Council to introduce a charging scheme for parking in Borough Council owned off-street car parks.
12. M27/A27 ROUTE MANAGEMENT STRATEGY (Report herewith)
To consider the report of the Director of Environment outlining a set of proposals for improvements by the Highways Agency for the M27/A27 corridor as part of its Route Management Strategy.
13. TOTTON TOWN CENTRE IMPROVEMENT PROPOSAL: REPORT ON THE FUNDING OF WORKS (Report herewith)
To consider the report of the Director of Environment summarising the options for the implementation and phasing of the improvement works for Totton Town Centre.
14. DATE, TIME AND VENUE FOR THE NEXT MEETING OF THE PANEL
It is proposed to hold meetings of the Solent Transport Strategy Panel on the following dates:-
Wednesday 7 March 2005;
Thursday 2 June 2005;
Wednesday 12 October 2005.
All three meetings will commence at 9.30a.m.
County Councillors attending as appointed members of this panel or by virtue of Standing Orders 17.5; or with the concurrence of the chairman in connection with their duties as members of the Council as a local County Councillor qualify for travelling expenses.
