1. Members are asked to note the contents of the attached report submitted to the Executive Member for Environment on 14 September 2004.
2. The Executive Member for Environment gave authority to enable Gosport Borough Council to introduce a charging scheme for parking in Borough Council owned off-street car parks, in accordance with Section 39(3) of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984.
3. This decision will contribute towards the implementation of the agreed policies to tackle congestion within the former South East Hampshire Transport Strategy area.
Recommendation
That the Panel note the decision of the Executive Member for Environment.
