29 LYMINGTON KEYHAVEN COASTAL AREA MANAGEMENT REPORT - APRIL TO OCTOBER 2004
The Committee considered the report of the Director of Recreation and Heritage (Item 5 in the Minute Book) outlining progress since the last meeting.
Councillor Mrs Banks emphasised that the public should have access to the Reserve. Conflict existed between cyclists and pedestrians. There should be disabled access and for pushchairs. Consideration should be shown by cyclists to other users. Mr Davison explained that attempts had been made to divert cyclists along the Ancient Highway.
Councillor Culver-Williams spoke of access to the Water Treatment Works by the A337, and was advised that the land was owned by the Southern Water Authority and access was on a permissive basis.
Best wishes were extended to Mr Bruce Gwynn, who was on sick leave, and Mr Durnell on becoming a father.

30 MANOR FARM (EFFORD) GRAVEL PIT AND LANDFILL SITE
The Committee noted the oral report of the Director of Environment updating on progress with planning applications and the Water Management scheme.
