    To consider the report of the Director of Environment providing a summary of a number of important policy statements which have been announced by the Secretary of State for Transport.

6. UPDATE ON HAMPSHIRE STRATEGIES (Report herewith)

    To consider the report of the Director of Environment summarising developments since the spring meeting of the panel, including the Annual Progress Report 2004, Casualty Reduction and Speed Cameras, Travel Plans and the MIRACLES project in Winchester.

7. LOCAL TRANSPORT PLAN 2006 TO 2011 UPDATE AND PROCEDURAL DECISIONS (Report herewith)

    To consider the report of the Director of Environment discussing the draft Local Transport Plan (LTP) guidance received from the Department for Transport and the procedural timetable issues that need to be addressed to produce a good LTP by the deadline of 29 July 2005.

8. KEY LOCAL TRANSPORT PLAN POLICY DECISIONS FOR HAMPSHIRE (Report herewith)

    To consider the report of the Director of Environment concerning key policy decisions for Hampshire County Council in its new Local Transport Plan.

9. KEY LOCAL TRANSPORT PLAN POLICY DECISIONS FOR TRANSPORT STRATEGY PANELS (Report herewith)

    To consider the report of the Director of Environment setting out the progress made on significant transport issues and themes in the New Forest Strategy area, and suggesting possible themed campaigns for the Panels consideration through the Local Transport Plan.

10. NEW FOREST DISTRICT STRATEGIC CYCLE ROUTES

    To consider the report of the Head of Policy, Design and Information (New Forest District Council) updating the Panel on amendments to the Strategic Cycle Route Plan for the New Forest.

11. CAPITAL PROGRAMME 2005/06 (Report herewith)

    To consider the report of the Director of Environment identifying the need to prioritise schemes within the indicative Transport Capital Programme for 2005/06.

County Councillors attending as appointed members of this panel or by virtue of Standing Orders 17.5; or with the concurrence of the chairman in connection with their duties as members of the Council as a local County Councillor qualify for travelling expenses.
