1. Summary

1.1 A proposal from Cowplain Community School to teach RE at KS3 in two years, in line with the DfES 2 year KS3 Project was received at the SACRE meeting in October 2003.

1.2 SACRE accepted the proposal with the proviso that developments in RE be reviewed after one year and reported to SACRE.


1.3 A report has been provided by Cowplain Community School to this effect (Appendix 1)

Recommendation

That the Standing Advisory Conference consider the report.
