1. Summary
1.1 The provisional self evaluation sub group met on 17 September 2004 to determine how a self evaluation might proceed.
1.2 The sub group scrutinised the Ofsted methodology for SACRE inspection to determine its usefulness for self evaluation.
1.3 The document proved to be useful in enabling SACRE to evaluate its work, if used in a flexible way.
2. Recommendation
2.1 That SACRE carry out a self evaluation.
2.2 That SACRE consider the representative membership of the group.
2.3 That the sub group report back its findings to SACRE and the key issues raised in relation to constructing a new SACRE development plan.
