1.1 The following decision(s) are is sought:

i) That the latest revenue budget monitoring position for the Environment services be noted.

2 Reason

2.1 Financial Regulations require the revenue budgets of services to be regularly monitored and for corrective action to be taken, if necessary, to control expenditure within approved cash limits.

2.2 Decisions on the revenue budget monitoring position will support all of the aims of the corporate strategy by following financial resources in these areas:

i) Maximising life opportunities

ii) Stewardship of the environment

iii) Achieving economic prosperity

iv) Building strong and safe communities

v) Improving services

vi) Developing councillors and staff
