1. Summary
1.1 The following decision is sought:
That the outstanding debts referred to in the attached report be written off.
2. Reason
2.1 This decision supports Aim 5 of the Corporate Strategy (Improving Services) by monitoring materials used by the construction industry.
3. Other Options Considered and Rejected
3.1 To pursue debts further has been rejected due to liquidators informing the County Council that assets are insufficient to cover the outstanding amount.
