Services to Schools

Summary

1.1

The following decision is sought:

That approval be given to the development of services to schools as part of the comprehensive service level agreement.

Reason(s)

2.1

To meet the requirements of the SLA with schools and to meet the standards set by the Audit Commission for the provision of successful property services to schools.

2.2

This decision supports Aims 1, 4, and 5 of the Corporate Strategy by ensuring that Property Services meet the needs of headteachers, children and the wider community; by maintaining and improving buildings used by the community; and by consulting headteachers and focusing on their needs in order that good quality services are delivered from well maintained and developed buildings.
