1.1 The following decisions are sought:

1. That authority be given to the Director of Social Services to negotiate (a) single tenders and (b) invite tenders for domiciliary care services in the New Forest.

2. Reason

This decision supports Aim 1 of the Corporate Strategy `Maximising Life Opportunities'. The partnership approach with care providers assists with Aim 3 `Achieving Economic Prosperity' and the focus on quality and cost contributes to Aim 5 `Improving Services'.
