Summary

1.1

The following decision is sought:

That the Executive Member for Education advises the Executive Member for Policy and Resources that the design project appraisal for the works at Whitchurch CE Primary School, at an estimated cost of up to £498,000 excluding fees, be approved.

Reason(s)

2.1

To provide an additional 60 Basic Need places by constructing two reception classrooms, an IT suite and extended corridor, plus external hard play areas.

2.2

This decision supports Aim 1 and 5 of the Corporate Strategy by providing improved facilities which will benefit all users of the school.
