1. Summary
1.1 The following decisions are sought:
(i) That the Grant Allocations as summarised below, totalling £12,554 be approved:

(ii) Supporting voluntary sector youth organisations through the Project Development Grants supports Corporate Strategy Aim 1, maximising life opportunities and Corporate Strategy Aim 4, building strong and safe communities, as well as contributing to the Cabinet priority for Youth.
2. Reasons
2.1 The Youth Panel at its meeting on 11 November 2004 advised the Executive Member for Education to approve grant allocations totalling £12,554.
3. Other Options Considered and Rejected: Not to make these grants. However, it is considered that making these grants constitutes an effective use of resources considering the benefits that they will bring.
