Partnership funding to Voluntary Bodies and other organisations 2004/05 - Sports Development

1. Summary

1.1 The following decision is sought:

That `one-off ' partnership funding of £600 be made to Pitt Street Regional Gymnastics Centre.

2. Reason

To enable the Centre to meet the shortfall in funding from 2003/04. The centre plays a key role attracting the local and county community to take part and excel in the sport of gymnastics. This activity supports the delivery of the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Sports Partnership strategy, to which the county is signed up and the corporate strategy by maximising life opportunities (Aim 1).
