1. Summary
1.1 The following Decision is sought:
That the Dance Bursary Scheme be suspended for 2005 and a report on the way forward be considered by the Executive Member at his March 2005 Decision Day meeting following discussions between the Dance Trust and Student Support.
2. Reason
2.1 The costs of the Dance Bursary Scheme have risen substantially over the last two years and, for 2004/05, it will cost £20,000 over the original budget.
2.2 This proposal supports Corporate Aim 5 (Improving Services) as the Scheme currently costs more than is in the budget and needs to be re-assessed.
3. Other options considered and rejected
- To stop the funding scheme altogether.

None.
