Summary

1.1

The following decisions are sought:

That approval be given to:

1 the additional New Deal for Schools Condition fund allocations as detailed in paragraph 2.3 of the report presented to BLPP on 2 February 2005;

2 the additional allocations from the capital repairs budget as set out in paragraph 3.1 of the report presented to the Buildings, Land and Procurement Panel on 2 February 2005;

3 seek planning permission for the erection of temporary buildings at All Saints Primary School, Winchester during the period of refurbishment work in spring/summer 2005, and at Langdown Infant School Hythe during the development of Waterside Primary School.

Reason(s)

2.1

To enable work to proceed associated with NDS Condition and capital repairs and for planning applications to be made for the erection of temporary buildings.

2.2

This decision supports Aims 2 and 5 of the Corporate Strategy by providing improved premises within the County Council's built estate..
