The following decision is sought:

   
 

That the Executive Member for Policy and Resources approves the design project appraisal for The Crescent Primary School at an estimated cost of up to £696,000, excluding fees.

Reason

   

2.1

The proposal to provide replacement permanent teaching accommodation and a new library will have an immediate benefit for the pupils and teaching staff of the school.

The need for the facilities provided by this scheme has been identified as a priority and the works set out in the design project appraisal are considered to be the most appropriate and cost-effective way of meeting that need.
