That the Executive Member for Policy and Resources approves the design project appraisal for Netley Marsh Infant School at an estimated cost of up to £739,000, excluding fees. |

The extension and refurbishment proposals will provide three permanent classrooms, an ICT suite/library and extended hall which will have an immediate benefit for the school. The proposal supports both Corporate Aims 1 and 5 by maximising life opportunities and improving services. |

The need for the facilities provided by this scheme has been identified as a priority and the works set out in the design project appraisal are considered to be the most appropriate and cost-effective way of meeting that need. |
