Apologies be extended to the Winchester and Eastleigh Healthcare NHS Trust for the breach of confidentiality which has occurred during negotiations with the County Council and officers to discuss with the Borough Council and report back on the Borough`s planning policies affecting the future use of the former Mount Hospital site. |

2.1 |
The purchase will enable the redevelopment potential of the County Council's adjoining land to be enhanced, offers the prospect of greater capital receipts from the sale of both the Trust and County Council land and will assist the Trust in its immediate funding arrangements and in its delivery of services in partnership with the County Council. |
