1 Summary

The following decision is sought:

That partnership funding, set out in the table below and totalling £72, 000 is distributed from the 2004/05 budget:

Hampshire Conservation Volunteers	500
Hampshire and Isle of Wight Wildlife Trust	11,000
Marwell Zoo	41,000
Butterfly Conservation	1,500
British Trust for Conservation Volunteers	18,000
Total	72,000

2 Reasons for the Recommendation

The organisations are key partners of the Service and deliver a range of countryside management and conservation projects and activities in support of the Countryside Service. The projects contribute to the Corporate Aims of Stewardship of the Environment; maximising life's opportunities and improving services.
