Charges for Rights of Way Searches

1. Summary

1.1 The following decision is sought:

That approval be given to the charge of £40.00 for a rights of way search taking up to an hour and £40.00 per hour thereafter.

2. Reason

2.1 To reflect increased costs of carrying out rights of way searches.

2.2 To be consistent with charges made for similar searches by other departments within the County Council.

2.3 This decision will support Aim 5 (Improving Services) by enabling the Countryside Service to continue to provide a high standard of service.
