All review team members to ensure that an account is kept of the time they spend when involved with review business in terms of hours and salary grades - timesheet to be provided.
Anticipated outputs from the review as agreed by Cabinet 15 December 2003:
_ Achievement of level 3 of the Standard
_ New aims in relation to equality and diversity, which will be incorporated in the Corporate Strategy
_ A plan for delivering these aims
_ Validation of the Council's policies and guidance that relate to equality and diversity
The process will check the efficacy of the Council's approach in delivering the equality and diversity aims in terms of:
_ Location of team
_ Resourcing of team/function
_ Role, resourcing and function of the Equality Strategic Action Group (ESAG) and departmental groups
_ How is the Council held accountable
_ Links with social inclusion, crime and disorder strategy, community engagement review
In order to answer these questions extensive research will be required about the practice in other organisations as well as an assessment of the views and experience of stakeholders.
