Strategy for the Built Estate

Summary

1.1

The following decisions are sought:

(a) that the strategy and objectives for 2005/6 be adopted;

(b) that resources for 2005/06 are allocated in 2005/06 based on the strategic objectives and the programme identified in Appendix 1.

(c) that the programmes and reviews planned for 2005/06 have as their principal objectives the reduction in long-term liabilities within the estate.

Reason(s)

2.1

To provide a framework and strategy against which revenue maintenance, capital reports and NDS funds should be allocated.

2.2

This decision supports Aims 1, 2 and 5 of the Corporate Strategy by providing a good quality and well maintained built estate to benefit the community.
