1.1 |
The following decisions are sought: |
| |
(a) that the methodologies and list of projects with sprinkler systems proposed or installed is approved; (b) that the Director of Property, Business and Regulatory Services reports to the Buildings, Land and Procurement Panel (BLPP) again in a year's time, reviewing developments and outcomes of the Policy introduced in early 2004; (c) that the Director of Property, Business and Regulatory Services reports to the next meeting of BLPP on the pressures on the available maintenance budget from existing policies including sprinkler installation.

To ensure that those buildings identified through the risk assessment process have sprinklers installed and to meet the requirements of the Sprinkler Policy approved in 2004. |
2.2 |
This decision supports Aims 2 and 5 of the Corporate Strategy by protecting, where appropriate, the core building/heritage assets. |
