1 Summary

The following decision was taken:

That the Leader of the County Council on the recommendations from the Buildings Land and Procurement Panel endorses the adoption of the amended Corporate Policy from the Director of Human Resources on Smoking and Passive Smoking.

2 Reasons

This decision supports Aims 1., 4. and 6. by further improving the health of staff by discouraging smoking in the workplace whilst supporting staff who wish to give up smoking.

Not to revise the existing policy on smoking.
