`Planning the Future of Hart Together': A Community Strategy for Hart

Report of the Chief Executive

1. Summary

    1.1. The following decision is sought:

    That `Planning the Future of Hart Together' be approved on the basis that the Hart LSP recognises that the County Council will need to take a County-wide view of actions in the Health and Well Being Chapter.

2. Reason(s):

2.1 Hampshire County Council is a key partner in the Hart Local Strategic Partnership, which has prepared the `Hart Community Strategy'. Hampshire County Council approval of this document is necessary for the strategy to be implemented.

2.2 The Hart Community Strategy supports Aim 4 of the Corporate Strategy (Building Strong and Safe Communities) by developing a long term vision to improve the quality of life for the Havant community.
