1. Summary
1.1. Taking into account the balance of funds (approx £9,000) from the Havant Area Committee budget for 2004/05 and grants approved for more than one year, totalling £83,000, the amount available for allocation in 2005/06 is £280,050.
1.2. The following decisions are sought:
(i) That the budget position be noted.
(ii) That approval be given to grants being awarded to voluntary organisations and other bodies as listed below:-

2. Reason(s):
To promote economic, social or environmental well-being within the community. These grants would support Aims 1 (maximising life opportunities) and 4 (building strong and safe communities) of the Corporate Strategy.

Not to award grants to the above organisations.
