An overview of the departments performance was given by DO Norgate.
Discussion centred around LP12 measuring the % of Home Fire Safety Checks carried out within 28 days. It is recognised as a challenging target but the trend is towards reaching the stated aim of 80%. Therefore target is to remain and be reviewed with all other performance indicators in April 2006.

DO Norgate proposed a new LP1 for the Fire Challenge Crew to record the Key Stage Three work delivered to schools above that required for general CFS messages. Approval given.

Circulated for information purposes.

8 AOB
DO Norgate raised the issue of:
Home Fire Safety Checks and a day in CFS to all CFA members. This was an action point from an earlier meeting and had been completed. There had been very little take up from CFA members which was disappointing.
These two offers will be re-made after the May elections.
Action: CFS Department
