Summary

1.1

The following decisions are sought:

That approval be given to:

1. The additional allocations in the NDS Condition Fund budget as detailed in paragraph 2.1 of the report to the Buildings, Land and Procurement Panel (BLPP) on 1 June 2005.

2. Brymor Construction being appointed to complete the staff room extension at Mountbatten School

3. The planning, design and implementation of an integrated land and buildings information system as detailed in the report to BLPP on 1 June 2005.

4. The use of unsupported borrowing of up to £500,000 under the prudential code to enable the Romsey Library project to proceed during the summer.

Reason(s)

2.1

To enable project work to proceed, and to begin work on a new IT system to provide information on the County Council's built estate and land holdings.

2.1

This decision supports Aims 2 and 5 of the Corporate Strategy by improving the quality of the Council's buildings and the management of building and land related information.
