Summary

The following decision is sought:

   
 

That approval be given to the purchase of 2.0 hectares (5.0 acres) of land adjoining Chilcomb House, Chilcomb Lane, Bar End, Winchester on the basis set out in the report.

This proposal will impact on delivery of the following aim of the Corporate Strategy

   
 

Aim 2 - Stewardship of the environment by ensuring that the conservation value of the land is appropriately protected. The purchase also complements the County Council's existing major landholdings at Bar End.
