Transforming Youth Work Plan
1. To develop closer working relationships and encourage the sharing of opportunities between voluntary youth organisations and the Hampshire County Youth Service

Regular meetings have been held with HCVYS Chair and development worker Deputy CYO attends HCVYS executive meetings Conference held on 3 March to explore Green Paper and Children Act developments. Excellent attendance with over 50 delegates |
1.2 Work in partnership with HCVYS to maintain and strengthen provision for 13-19 year olds as well as addressing the needs of young people at risk of exclusion from education and/or their local community |
30K allocated from TYWDF to support infrastructure and to implement greater involvement in the allocation of grants The revision of grants allocation and process has been postponed until after the local government elections Support and advice provided to strengthen policy and focus of the network. A joint QA process is currently under discussion. Connexions is supporting AQUIP |
2. To underpin Youth Service and Connexions involvement and to encourage young people to become engaged in local democratic processes and influence how resources are allocated and used
