The following decisions are sought:

That approval be given to the statement of purpose and the contents of the annual report be noted

2.1

This decision supports Aims 1,3,4,5 and 6 of the Corporate Strategy by maximising life opportunities for children who are looked after, helping them to achieve their economic potential and enabling them to contribute positively to the life of the community. The adoption service aims to continually improve and to develop those staff and elected members who participate in adoption panels and who act as Corporate parents to the children who are enabled to find permanent homes outside of the care system.
