1. The South East England Regional Assembly has commissioned the Principal Authorities (counties and unitary councils) to work closely with the district councils on formulating district-level housing targets for inclusion in the South East Plan.
2. The attached report describes the process for formulating the draft District-level housing figures, puts forward the figures which are proposed for public consultation and proposes how that consultation should be conducted.
Recommendation
That the Committee be invited to consider this report and offer any comments which it believes the Cabinet should take into account in making its decision.
