1.1 The following decision is sought:

That approval be given to allow the £1.963 million of budget pressures identified in the budget to be offset by the redeployments identified and the progress set out in this report be noted.

2.1 This decision supports Aims 1-5 (Maximising Life Opportunities; Stewardship of the Environment; Achieving Economic Prosperity; Building Strong and Safe Communities; and Improving Services) of the Corporate Strategy by focusing the available financial resources in the areas where budgetary pressures have been identified.
