That, by virtue of paragraphs 7 and 9 of Part 1 of Schedule 12A of the Local Government Act 1972 the press and public be excluded from the meeting during consideration of the following items.

To consider the confidential report of the County Treasurer regarding the appointment of Bramdean Asset Management as advisors.
12 SALE OF DEUTSCHE ASSET MANAGEMENT TO ABERDEEN ASSET MANAGERS (CONFIDENTIAL) (Report herewith)
To consider the confidential report of the County Treasurer regarding the sale of Deutsche Asset Management to Aberdeen Asset Managers (Representatives of Aberdeen Asset Managers and advisers from Bramdean Asset Management will be in attendance for discussions on the issues raised on this item).
County Councillors attending as appointed members of this panel or by virtue of Standing Order 17.5; or with the concurrence of the Chairman in connection with their duties as members of the Council or as a local County Councillor qualify for travelling expenses.
Independent Members similarly qualify for payment of travelling expenses.
