You are hereby summoned to attend the Meeting of the County Council to be held at The Castle, Winchester at 10.00am on THURSDAY 29 SEPTEMBER 2005 to consider and resolve upon the business set out in the Agenda below. There will be a short service of prayer at the beginning of the meeting.

AGENDA

1. DECLARATIONS OF INTEREST

    All Members who believe they have a personal or personal prejudicial interest in any matter to be considered at the meeting must declare their personal interest and, having regard to the circumstances described in paragraphs 9, 10, 11 and 12 of the County Council's Code of Conduct, consider whether to leave the meeting whilst the matter is discussed. The declaration should be made at the time of the relevant debate.

2. MINUTES

To confirm the Minutes of the meeting held on 21 July 2005.

3. CHAIRMAN'S COMMUNICATIONS

    To receive such communications as the Chairman may wish to put before the Council.

4. LEADER'S REPORT

    To receive such reports as the Leader of the Council may wish to make to the Council.

5. QUESTIONS UNDER STANDING ORDER 20(b)

    The list of questions received will be circulated at the meeting. Where a member has submitted more than one question, their second and subsequent questions will not be answered until all other members' first questions have been dealt with.

6. APPOINTMENTS

    To make alterations as required in the membership of committees and other bodies which are not subject to proportionality rules, and to make any other member appointments necessary. A report of the Chief Executive concerning a vacancy on the County Council's Independent Remuneration Panel is circulated with this agenda.

7. HAMPSHIRE MINERALS AND WASTE DEVELOPMENT FRAMEWORK - STATEMENT OF COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT

    To consider the report of the Executive Member for Environment: North Hampshire and Spatial Strategy seeking approval of the statement for submission to the First Secretary of State, for final public consultation and as a basis for plan-making and development control purposes.

    a) To receive the report of the Authority;

    b) To deal with any questions which have been submitted pursuant to Standing

      Order 20(d) concerning the discharge of its functions.

    a) To receive the report of the Hampshire Fire and Rescue Authority;

    b) To deal with any questions which have been submitted pursuant to Standing
