Summary

1.1

The following decisions are sought:

1. That authority be given to the Director of Adult Services to negotiate a single tender for the continued provision of the On Track Service for Adults with Learning Disabilities in Havant/Petersfield.

Reason(s)

2.1

The proposal represents the most economically viable arrangement for the County Council and will provide a key strategic service within the day service modernisation programme.

2.2

The proposal supports Corporate Strategy Aim 1 (Maximising Life Opportunities) through the promotion of social inclusion and access to community resources and Corporate Aim 3 (Achieving Economic Prosperity) through facilitating increased access to employment for service users and employees through the partnership with the Service Provider. The focus on cost and quality and services review to ensure that it reflects current service requirements and is fit for purpose supports Corporate aim 5 (Improving Services).
