Summary

   

1.1

The following decisions are sought:

   
 

That the Executive Member for Education advises the Executive Member for Policy and Resources that the design project appraisal for the works at West Tytherley C of E Primary School be approved at an estimated cost of up to £851,000 excluding fees.

Reason(s)

   

2.1

To provide permanent, purpose built classroom and administrative facilities, thus facilitating the removal of temporary classroom units.

2.2

This decision supports Aims 1 and 5 of the Corporate Strategy by providing improved facilities for all users of the school.

3.1

The need of the school for the facilities in question has been identified as a priority and the works set out in the design project appraisal are considered to be the most appropriate and cost-effective way of meeting that need.
