The following decision is sought:

That approval be given to the sale of approximately 0.4 ha (1.0 acre) of land at Mill Lane, Brockenhurst on the basis set out in the report and on detailed terms and conditions to be settled by the Director of Property Business & Regulatory Services (Head of Estates).

This decision supports the following Aims of the Corporate Strategy

Aim 1 - Maximising life opportunities by enabling the provision of affordable housing in the Parish of Brockenhurst in order to meet local housing needs

Aim 2 - Stewardship of the environment by ensuring the development has a high quality of design reflecting the rural setting of the site

Aim 5 - Improving services by ensuring that priority is given to local key worker applications within the allocation policy for the development
