    1. Summary

      The following decision is sought:

      That a `Silver Hampshire Hog' be presented to The Very Reverend Michael Till, on the occasion of his retirement as Dean of Winchester.

    2. Reasons

      The ` Silver Hampshire Hog' Award Scheme was established by the Leader of the Council on 25 July 2003 to recognise the outstanding contributions of individuals or organisations to the economic, social or environmental well being of the County and its communities. The awards are to be made at the discretion of the Leader of the Council subject to formal decision by him in the interests of openness and transparency.

      The Very Reverend Michael Till has been Dean of Winchester since 1996 and he has made a significant contribution to the spiritual welfare of the community of Hampshire and in particular to the Diocese of Winchester.
