1. Summary

The following decisions are sought:

Hampshire Buildings Preservation Trust (HBPT) - That Councillor Michael Woodhall be appointed until May 2009 with the annual subscription fee being met from the Policy and Resources Corporate Subscriptions budget.

Blackwater Valley and Hart Primary Care Trust (PCT) - That Councillor Mrs Carol Leversha be appointed until the annual meeting of the Council in May 2008, replacing Councillor Mrs Sharon Wheale

2. Reason

To maintain County Council representation within the community.

Hampshire Buildings Preservation Trust

On 16 May 2005 the Executive Member for Policy and Resources appointed Councillor Colin Davidovitz onto the HBPT Board until October 2007. This was a shorter appointment than other outside bodies to reflect the ongoing administrative changes at the Trust.

The Secretary to the Trust has recently written to the Chief Executive advising that as from April 2006, the County Council will need to apply for membership and pay a subscription fee of £100 per annum. The County Treasurer has advised that the membership fee could be met from the Policy and Resources Corporate Subscriptions budget. The Trust is also encouraging the County Council to be represented at their forthcoming AGM on Friday 2 December 2005.

The Executive Member for Policy and Resources is asked to consider appointing Councillor Michael Woodhall until May 2009 with the annual subscription fee being met from the Corporate Subscriptions budget.

Blackwater Valley and Hart Primary Care Trust

On 16 May 2005 the Executive Member for Policy and Resources appointed Councillor Mrs Sharon Wheale to this PCT until May 2009. Councillor Mrs Sharon Wheale has asked that, due to other commitments, a replacement appointment be made. Councillor Mrs Carole Leversha has been approached and is content to take on this appointment.

3. Other Options considered and Rejected Not to make the appointments.

4. Conflicts of interest declared by the decision maker or other Executive Member consulted None.

5. Dispensation granted by the Standards Committee None.
