1. Summary

1.1 The following decision was taken:

That Councillor F. G. Allgood, J.P. be appointed as a County Council representative on the South Downs Joint Management Committee in place of Councillor M. J. Woodhall.

2. Reason

2.1. The County Council is entitled to appoint five executive or local members to the South Downs Joint Management Committee. At its meeting in May 2005 the County Council appointed Councillors: Byrom, Cartwright, Knight, J. K. West and Woodhall to the Management Committee but Councillor Woodhall has now resigned. A replacement is sought in order to maintain full County Council representation on the Management Committee, and may be made by the Executive Member for Environment - South Hampshire and Resource Management.

3.1 Not to make this appointment.
