A. KEY DECISIONS

1. AUTHORITY TO TENDER: SITE INVESTIGATION WORK AND ASSOCIATED LABORATORY TESTING (REPORT HEREWITH)

    To consider the report of the Director of Environment on the proposed renewal of an existing contractual arrangement to provide site investigation work and associated laboratory testing to the County Council.

2. REVENUE BUDGET MONITORING 2005/06 (REPORT HEREWITH)

    To consider the report of the County Treasurer and the Director of Environment which provides an update on the revenue budget monitoring position previously reported during September, pending preparation of the 2005/06 revised budget in January 2006.

3. HOUSEHOLD WASTE RECYCLING CENTRES: WINTER OPENING HOURS - HEALTH AND SAFETY RECOMMENDATIONS (REPORT HEREWITH)

    To consider the report of the Director of Environment on proposals to implement an interim change to the closing times at household waste recycling centres ahead of a fuller evaluation.

4. A3023 LANGSTONE BRIDGE, HAVANT: STAGE I - CONVERSION OF FOOTWAYS TO SHARED PEDESTRIAN AND CYCLE USE (REPORT HEREWITH)

    To consider the report of the Director of Environment on the proposed conversion of footways to shared pedestrian and cycle use at the A3023 Langstone Bridge, Havant.

5. ON STREET PARKING CHARGES - EASTLEIGH (REPORT HEREWITH)

    To consider the report of the Director of Environment on the proposals of Eastleigh Borough Council to introduce on street parking charges for limited period parking spaces at selected town centre locations for which no fee is currently payable.

6. PROJECT APPRAISAL: GOSPORT URBAN CENTRE IMPROVEMENTS (REPORT HEREWITH)

    To consider the report of the Director of Environment and appended project appraisal for the construction of five pedestrian improvement schemes in locations in Gosport at an estimated cost of £150,000.

7. PROJECT APPRAISAL: ALTON ACCESSIBILITY - PHASE I (REPORT HEREWITH)

    To consider the report of the Director of Environment and appended project appraisal for the provision of pedestrian refuges and footway links along Whitedown Lane, Alton and new street lighting along the recently adopted footpath between Paper Mill Lane and Ashdell Road, Alton at an estimated cost of £137,000 including some developer funding.

8. PROJECT APPRAISAL: HAMPSHIRE VILLAGES INITIATIVE - VILLAGE GREEN ENHANCEMENT, THE PLESTOR, WEST LISS (REPORT HEREWITH)

    To consider the report of the Director of Environment and appended project appraisal for improvements to the village green at The Plestor, West Liss at an estimated cost of £59,500 including some developer funding.
