1. Summary

1.1 This report presents an update on the current financial and performance situation for the Recreation and Heritage Department for 2005/06.

1.2 The following decisions are sought:

    i) That the financial position is noted

    ii) That the continuing action being taken to address the pressures be endorsed

    iii) That the performance information be noted

    iv) That £50,000 of the capital programme is added to the Community Buildings Fund for 2005/06

2. Reason(s)

2.1 Regular budget monitoring reports are submitted to the Executive Member throughout the year. The purpose of this report is to confirm that managerial action is being taken to achieve a balanced budget position and that performance is being improved
