    22 PENSIONS ISSUES

      The Committee considered the confidential report of the County Treasurer (Item 7 in the Minute Book) on certain pensions issues, and also received a detailed presentation from Hewitt, Bacon and Woodrow Limited, the actuary for the Hampshire Pension Fund.     23 UPDATE ON PAY AND BENEFITS PROJECT AND PROPOSAL FOR

      2006 SALARY AWARD FOR THOSE IN HAMPSHIRE MANAGEMENT

    GRADES

      The Committee received the confidential report of the Director of Human Resources (Item 8 in the Minute Book) detailing progress with the Pay and Benefits Project and outlining proposals for the 2006 salary award for officers in Hampshire Management grades. The officers amplified the report and answered detailed Member questions. After due consideration of the possible options, the Committee agreed a pay increase from 1 April 2006 in respect of officers on Hampshire Management grades.
