    To consider the report of the Chief Officer containing highlights of the performance indicators data for the second quarter of 2005/06, focussing on the more strategic indicators.

6. PROGRESS REPORT ON THE ACTIONS TAKEN TO MEET THE RECOMMENDATIONS MADE IN THE PREVIOUS BEST VALUE REVIEW OF PROCUREMENT (Report herewith)

To consider the report of the Chief Officer detailing progress on the actions taken to meet the recommendations made in the previously conducted Best Value Review of Procurement.

7. RECOMMENDATIONS AND ACTIONS ARISING FROM INTERNAL AUDIT REPORTS (Report herewith)

    To consider the report of the Chief Officer detailing the monitoring report for ongoing actions.

8. EXCLUSION OF THE PRESS AND PUBLIC

    RECOMMENDATION:

    That, by virtue of paragraph 9 of Part 1 of Schedule 12A of the Local Government Act 1972, the press and public be excluded from the meeting during consideration of the following item.
