Summary

1.1

The following decision is sought:

That, the scheme at Cowplain Community School, Waterlooville, to provide a floodlit Synthetic Turf pitch and Multi-Use Games Area, with an estimated cost of up to £755,000, excluding fees be approved.

2.1

To provide a Synthetic Turf Pitch and Multi-Use Games Area for use by the school and the local community.

2.2

This decision supports Aims 1 and 5 of the Corporate Strategy by providing improved facilities for all users of the facility.

The need for the facilities in question has been identified as a priority and the works set out in the report are considered to be the most appropriate and cost-effective way of meeting that need.
