1. The Committee has been alerted to proposals to vary or develop:
¬ Maternity Services in Southwest Hampshire;
¬ the reconfiguration of Surgical Services in Mid and Southwest Hampshire;
¬ Acute Paediatric Services;
¬ Changes to Wessex Cardiac Services;
¬ Changes to Bed Modelling at Winchester and Eastleigh Healthcare NHS Trust;
¬ Mental Health Accommodation in Mid Hampshire;
¬ Contraception and Sexual Health Services;
¬ The development of Adult Supportive and Palliative Care at the Countess of Brecknock Hospice, Andover War Memorial Hospital;
¬ Elderly Mental Health Services Day Hospital Provision in Fareham, Gosport and East Hampshire;
¬ Rainbow Assessment and Treatment Groups in Blackwater Valley and Hart;
¬ Maternity Services in Southeast Hampshire;
¬ Changes to Service Configuration at Andover War Memorial Hospital
¬ Changes to Community Service Reconfiguration in Havant and Emsworth;
¬ Community Strategy Services in Southwest Hampshire;
¬ Changes to the configuration of services at Alton Hospital;
¬ Improving Mental Health Services for People of Working Age
2. The Committee was advised that The Romsey Birth Centre would reopen on 20 March 2006 following a temporary closure and has continued to press for the reopening of The Grange and Blackbrook Birth Centres.
3. This supports Aims 1,4 and 5 of the Corporate Strategy.
