1. Summary

1.1 The following decisions are sought:

(i.) That trophy grants totalling £2,368, as recommended by the Michael Austin Harlick Advisory Group on 26 January 2006 and detailed in Appendix 1, be made to the following sports associations:

1.2 Financial Position

This was the final meeting to be held during the current financial year, when a total of around £8,000 has been awarded in trophy grants and special awards. This will leave a balance of about £6,000 on the year to be carried forward into the next financial year.

2. Reason

To reward the achievements of Hampshire school-age young people in line with the requirements of Michael Austin Harlick's original bequest. This decision supports Aim 1 of the Corporate Strategy - Maximising Life Opportunities.
