The following decision is sought: |

That the Executive Member for Education advises the Executive Member for Policy and Resources that the project appraisal for the replacement of temporary classrooms with permanent, at an estimated cost of up to £643,000, excluding fees, be approved. |

To replace temporary classrooms which are in a poor condition with permanent classroom/library accommodation. |
2.2 |
This decision supports Aim 1 and 5 of the Corporate Strategy by providing improved facilities which will benefit all users of the school. |

The need of the school for the facilities in question has been identified as a priority and the works set out in the design project appraisal are considered to be the most appropriate and cost effective way of meeting that need. |
