1.1 That the following decision is sought:

That approval be given for the annual revenue grants 2006/2007.

2 Reason

2.1 Supporting voluntary sector youth organisations through Project Development grants extends the capacity of the voluntary sector to increase delivery of effective youth work and supports Corporate Strategy Aim 1, Maximising life opportunities and Corporate Strategy Aim 4, building strong and safe communities, as well as enabling voluntary organisations to work towards the five outcomes of Every Child Matters by encouraging young people to stay safe, be healthy, enjoy and achieve, make a positive contribution and achieve economic well being.
